The co-creator of Call of Duty, who helped create the wildly popular first-person shooter Call of Duty, has tragically died in a vehicle crash in the state of California he was 55 years old.

The tragic news was verified by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the development studio which he helped establish.

The renowned game designer died after his automobile collided and caught fire on a highway in the Los Angeles area on this past Sunday, according to.
