For an elegant surprise, enjoy this sophisticated cocktail. It is delicate, fragrant and easy to sip, and pairs nicely with a few chunks of parmesan.

Sake Martini

Makes a single portion

30ml gin – a quality London dry gin is ideal

15ml Lillet Blanc – an aromatic French aperitif wine

15ml sake – preferably a delicate, balanced sake

Combine the gin, Lillet Blanc, and sake in a cocktail shaker, add a big handful of ice cubes and stir for 30 seconds to chill well. Pour into a frosty martini glass and enjoy.
